TINA BONČA

Costume Designer

Tina Bonča holds a master's degree in Costume Design from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. She has worked on many theatre productions, but her costume design for films is even more recognisable. She has worked on numerous short and feature films, including Let Him Be a Basketball Player and Let Him Be a Basketball Player 2 (Gustav film), The Miner and Perseverance (Nucleus film), Four Things I Wanted To Do With You (RTV Slovenia) and My Last Year as a Loser (Vertigo production). The Transport project is a synergy between elements of film and theatre costume design. The characters inhabit hyper-realistic cinematic worlds that the audience watches from their theatre seats. This hybrid space, where both forms of expression intertwine, not only houses numerous figurines (up to 150 in a single performance), but also the costumes of the actors and animators, whose presence further shapes the aesthetic and narrative dynamics of the performance.
